What makes Wherewithal unique?
We believe bras should be personal, not intimate. W/ so much confusion around sizing, we wanted to give our customers the ability to decide what feels right to them. So we addressed the root of the problem—the bra design itself. We re-designed the bra, and better yet we threw out the nearly century-old grading system still used by bra companies today and crafted a process of our own. Our new standard puts you front and center. After all, the best bra size is the one you create.

What if an item I want is sold out?
We currently manufacture in small batches based on our commitment to reducing waste. If a product you want is sold out, you can sign up to be notified by email when your size is back in stock. Go to the specific product page to sign up. More inventory is coming soon! 

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay. Your card will be charged immediately after your order is placed. Shopify Payments is not available to US territories except Puerto Rico.

Size & Fit

How does your sizing work?
We are dedicated to breaking away from traditional bra sizing. Because every Wherewithal bra adjusts to fit 3 traditional bra sizes, we named them SizeSets. W/ our signature sliding back bands, you have the power to personalize your size—for the first time ever. Your measurements determine your SizeSet, but your personal size is the one you create.

How do I find my size?
Through our SizeSet Guide, of course! Our bra design introduces a new approach to bra sizing. Our guide will walk you through how to build your SizeSet.

What bra sizes do you carry?
We currently offer the following SizeSets:
Band 0 / Cup 8
Band 1 / Cup 7-11
Band 2 / Cup 7-11
Band 3 / Cup 7-11
Band 4 / Cup 10-11

What underwear sizes do you carry?
We currently offer underwear in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, 1X, 2X, 3X.

I don’t see my size!

Why do your bra cups start at a 7?
Great question! Traditional bra size naming conventions did not accurately represent who we are, so we broke away. It started out as an internal naming system, and stuck. We loved how the band/cup naming combination resembles a date because we want to be the bra you wear anytime, any day, w/ anything. We currently offer cup sizes 7-11, and have more sizes launching soon.

Tell me more about your adjustable band sizing.
Each of our bands can be adjusted w/ in a 4-inch range, so you can adjust your fit. We currently offer bands 0-4, and have more sizes launching soon.

Band 0 / 22-26in

Product Info

Why do you only have two product styles?
Because we fit every product we create—in every size we offer—on real women, our design process takes between 12-14 months. As a small company, we are working hard to expand our product offerings… and we have a lot more in store. As they say, good things come to those who wait (like a bra w/ shoulder straps, hint hint?). 😉

Will you have more colors?
Yes! We have three colors—Sunrise, Golden Hour, New Moon—w/ additional colors on the way.

Where are your products made?
All of our suppliers and manufacturers are in Guangdong Province, China, and we are so proud they are part of the larger Wherewithal team. We spent well over a year searching for a manufacturer who understood our vision and could bring it to life. Our teams worked in lock step to quite literally break traditional bra sizing and re-engineer our bra design to create personal bra sizing—for the first time ever. We have partnered w/ some of the highest quality textile mills in the world, and many components of our bras are custom-made just for Wherewithal, including our back band elastic.

How do you ensure quality?
We work w/ an incredible third-party inspection agency whose attention to detail is unlike any other quality service we’ve seen. (And we thought our team was obsessed w/ the details!) Our inspection process is rigorous because we are dedicated to providing you w/ the best quality possible. At the end of the day, if we wouldn’t wear it, we won’t sell it.

Wherewithal Guarantee: We stand behind every piece we sell. If the product you ordered is damaged, please report it to us w/ in 30 days of receipt and we will replace or refund it for free.

A Note on COVID-19: This unprecedented time has created radical change w/ in the retail industry. Customers are more eager to shop online. They value well-made products. They are going back to basics. We believe that sometimes life disrupts our plans because it has something new in store. W/ the help of our global partners, we have created a thorough Pandemic Protocol Review as part of our supplier onboarding process. This allows us to work w/ thoughtful consideration and care in partnership w/ our suppliers and their employees to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19.


Wear & Care

How do I care for my pieces?
Bras and underwear are the foundation of every wardrobe, though we don’t often give much thought in how to best care for these garments. Washing machines are tough—We recommend hand washing all Wherewithal products in cold water using delicate detergent. We know hand washing is a little more work, but this goes a long way in extending the lifetime of your bras and underwear. Bleach can be tempting, but also very harsh, so it’s best to avoid. Say no to tumble drying—Laying flat or hanging up to air dry is always a great way to ensure your garments don’t shrink. And do not, we repeat, do not iron—the good thing is you shouldn’t ever need to! 

How often should I replace my bras?
Bras need a break too. It’s good to rotate your bra every few days to give the elasticity time to rest. When it comes to replacing your bras, it’s best to do so every 12 months so you can ensure your bra is supportive and not stretched out. 

What about underwear?
Underwear should be changed daily (seems like a no-brainer, but figured we would include just in case). Just like your bra, we recommend replacing your underwear every 12 months.
